I feel like such a jerk. Hey! A jerk! There's the label for which I've been destined. A Christ-following, consiberal or libervative jerk. Whew! I'm experiencing self-actualization even as I type this. If they can't do that, how can they decide whether or not you are worthwhile before they actually get to know you?

That reservation aside, I'm partial to consiberal. It just rolls of the tongue easier. Although it sort of sounds like it could be a disease. If you tell people that you're a consiberal, they might be nervous that it's contagious.

:)Zach Pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459696196850168776.post-7424018710191640552010-08-08T12:56:55.065-07:002010-08-08T12:56:55.065-07:00Well...in that case my vote for you would be liber...Well...in that case my vote for you would be libervative. No, I'm not saying that to be a "true" Christ-follower one cannot be a liberal. What I was trying to say was that I am not a liberal in that one particular sense of the term, i.e. if being a liberal means that one is not bound by any sense of orthodoxy or moral code that is regarded as authoritative. In other senses of the term (which I briefly mentioned) I would regard myself as a liberal. This is why I coined the 2 terms--consiberal and libervative--and asked all of you for additional suggestions. Maybe I'm just a conservative liberal.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14737973262005167895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459696196850168776.post-9672683446309135112010-08-07T13:06:11.373-07:002010-08-07T13:06:11.373-07:00#1 I don't like labels.
